Headlight washer pipe not connected

Featured Replies

Evening all,

Long time lurker on here (Yeti owner for past 3 years) but new to posting.

So....picked up My new Ocy VRS 4x4 today.  Driving home from the dealers and washer fluid light comes on, I stop fill it up and 10 mins later it's back on.  Long story short 4 fill ups later, it appears the passenger side water pipe going to the headlight washer isn't attached as water is gushing out under the headlight when activated and the the nozzle is not extending out the bumper.

My question is....Is this a bumper off dealer job or is there a way to got to the pipe so I can attach it myself.  Car is under warranty, but before i book it in, i thought I would ask you guys first.

Cheers all

Probably a bumper off job, I don't think there's enough room after removing the plastic panel under the engine bay to get to where you need to.

If it was brand new it can't have been PDI'd very well :wondering:

If ex demo, it would make me suspect a bodged repair after a prang? Worth checking for any other signs of a repair I reckon.
