Hello. I have just bought a 2013 '63' Fabia. I cannot make the external mirrors move. According to the handbook, the rotary knob has to face either 'R' or 'L' and all it says is 'The movement of the mirror surface is identical to the movement of the rotary knob.' However, nothing happens when I turn it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

Don't turn it, push it up, down, left or right.

Sounds like either the switch is gone or damaged wires, but before all that check the fuse board not sure of number mine blew while on holidays last year

Thank you both for your advice. It works when I move the switch up/down/left/right. It is obvious really but the handbook doesn't make it clear!

Glad there is nothing wrong with the car, it's not necessarily easy to work everything out on an unfamiliar car.
