Thank you for your response. I took delivery on December 23rd. It is a standard SE 150 bhp diesel spec in Candy white with 18" Modus alloys and sunset glass. I really think there is nothing else out there for the money that comes close. A really well equipped and well put together car. We are very pleased with it. Tried the Passat, Audi A6 Avant and a couple of others but the size and value were the final clincher. I would have paid nearly 10k more for the Audi and felt the difference was not worth that much. This is my first Skoda and we are really impressed withit. Smooth, comfortable, huge, and quiet in the cabin too. I only have one small moan and that is that the SD card in the stereo does not recognize WAV or lossless recorded music, only the inferior MP3 format, I am fussy about my sound quality and all of my music is recorded in high resolution formats that do not work in the SD machine. Other than that, really happy.

Glad to hear you're happy with it.  I was in the boat looking at A6s etc but it all came back to the Superb once again in terms of price, comfort, space etc.  Prices are creeping with the Superbs so they need to hold prices now as the lines will start to become too blurred versus the premium brands.
