Can anybody confirm if my 2002 Fabia classic 1.4 Mpi 8V came with central locking as standard? I don't think it did because I would expect the key to open all the doors when I unlock the drivers door but it doesn't but other people are telling me it did come with Central locking it is probably not working i.e blow fuse or door control switches.

 

I bought the car three weeks ago but it only came with one standard key, no buttons,  once I have opened the drivers door I have to open all the other doors from the inside and its no longer a novelty.

 

There is a company near me in Leeds that does replacement keys with the open and close buttons can I just take my car to them and let them code a key to the car assuming it has central locking in the first place.

Mine is the same model and has central locking but it just depends what options were ordered for the car when new.
