Car is a - 2004 Mk1 1U5 1.9tdi 130

 

Hi all,

 

Just wondering if anyone has had this problem before? I've got a problem with my climatonic. The blower is spinning fast but no air is coming out of any vents at all on any setting not even re-circ. I've got the dash in bits at the moment and have tracked down the motors and I can see them moving.

 

So far I've taken the cabin filter off and there is no difference. When I took it out I adjusted the air temp and the flap inside the filter box moved but not a great deal.

 

Just going to charge my laptop up and go get the vagcom on it.

 

Any suggestions?

can't wait :-)   can only be fan adrift or "blinded"    does the recirc'd go thro' the filter "again"?  or can it suck something up?

Sorry I had to pop out.

 

All the motors seem to be working ok but the fan seems to sound like it should be kicking out a lot more air than it actually is. is there a main flap that could be stuck closed? I can't see anything past the heater matrix.

 

What do you mean by blinded?

 

i'm charging my battery a the moment. I left the ignition on while I went out. Duhhhh
