MK111 VRS Alloys on MK11 FL?

Featured Replies

I recently bought a 2010 MK11 FL VRS Estate but it came with replica TTRS Rotor alloys which were not to my taste. The offset was et42 so stuck out a bit more than stock and helped knock out a wheel bearing. I swapped these over to some 3SDM wheels which I removed from my previous car (B6 Passat) but the offset is still et42 and despite looking a bit better they do not suit the car. Anyway I have been trying to find some Neptunes but they are thin on the ground so was thinking maybe MK111 VRS wheels might be an option?

Has anyone fitted them to a MK11 or can direct me to a pic of one so I can get an idea if it will look any good?

Yes, they'll fit.

ET doesn't mean much unless width is known.

They are 8.5x18 and quite a heavy wheel. I am also running 235/45/18 on rear with 225/45/18 at the front. It may look better when lowered but I can still tell it is not too happy on this combo.
