I've ordered a dashcam that I will modify and make it look OEM on the car. I've done that before and it works great.

The Dashcam has S-video (yellow video cable) or video out as it's sometimes called. I have the big screen in my MY16 Skoda Superb 280.

Wonder if the S-video cable can be hooked up to view it on the screen?

Bought this car 2 months ago. (Skoda Octavia 1.5 TSI DSG) and from couple of weeks ago i hear some cracking sounds when i press the brake pedal. Its not constant, sometimes it's there sometimes it's not but quite annoying. I also uploaded a video to hear the cracking. The service said that it's "normal" but this should not happen on a new car. Anyone experienced such issues? Also tried disabling the "auto hold" option but still this issue persists.

Hi. Had the car since May 25. Always been a knocking sound like metal on metal from the front suspension when driving over bumps in the road. It sounds a bit like an old worn shock absorber on a car from the past. The dealer identified and acknowledged the unusual sound but were unable to identify the cause. I contacted Skoda UK customer services who were generally pretty unhelpful. The did supply the dealer with a copy of a page from an internal powerpoint presentation which revealed that

Hi, I've got a weird powered tailgate issue on my Superb. If I press the interior button I can hear the lock release, but nothing happens after. If I press the button on the outside of the boot, the lock releases but nothing happens. If I press that button a few more times, I will eventually start rising but only to about half way. Database is maintained by Phonostar.de and Škoda doesn't hide that but one of their answer sounded similar to . . .
