How can I find out how many miles there are until next service is due? Will pressing or turning trip knob display no. of miles?

Ignition on, do not start car.

 

Press and hold trip reset for several seconds and display should then show time/distance to next service.

 

Trip reading is unaffected.

 

 

Read owners handbook.

Turn Trip knob it will come up with Days To Go (based on recent journeys) and miles to go. 

Pressing the knob resets the Trip Meter. 

I'm fairly sure twisting the knob changes the servicing schedule from variable to fixed, if you want to revert to variable you will need someone to plug a box of tricks into the OBD port and do magic.

 

Pressing and holding the trip button works for me, I know, I just did it a couple of days ago.

The way MicMac describes how he accesses the service info is different to how it works in my Octy, (I log how many miles and days to the next service every time I fuel the car) .
