I have 2.0 vrs tfsi manual box,is it possible to change to a dsg gearbox?

Anything is possible however I'd think you'd be FAR easier selling your car and buying something with a dsg already fitted.

Like Richie said, you'll be much better off buying a car with dsg fitted. It will be a pain buying and changing gearbox, interior trim, pedal box and the gearbox ECU, including reprogramming the main ECU so the car knows it has a DSG box fitted.

Best place to mount a 2kg fire extinguisher – legal requirement in Greece

Hey guys, I need to keep a 2kg fire extinguisher in my car due to legal requirements in Greece and I’m trying to figure out the best mounting spot. My main concern is securing it properly so it doesn’t rattle or move around while driving. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s dealt with this — where did you mount yours, and did you use a dedicated bracket or holder? Any tips on keeping it secure without damaging the interior would be great. Thanks in advance!

Hi I couldn't find any relevant previous threads other than this not helpful one for my situation https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/536808-odometer-mileage-has-gone-down-since-last-year/ Unfortunately the garage that did the first MOT for my 2023 Skoda Octavia 1.5 TSI e-TEC in February did not appreciate the distance on the odometer was km rather than miles (I have been taking the car a few times to Europe and had changed the distance display to metric and never thought of changing it back

Hi everyone as a newbie I thought I’d send a virtual wave and introduce my new to me 2022 Skoda kodiaq 2.0 diesel 150hp 2WD DSG SEL exec. Picked it up on Saturday and am impressed so far. I have already disabled stop/go and switched on traffic sign recognition using obdeleven! The car replaces a much loved Qashqai.

I do need to change my lovely (but aged) 2010 Fabia 1.6tdi so went looking for a year old 1.5tsi DSG SEL, found a nice one at a local dealer but when looking at the finance side of things, it worked out similar to buy a brand new one (via Carwow prices) due to the Skoda contribution and the lower APR on a PCP. One is the reversable boot floor, carpet one side and a sort of plastic the other. Both items are in great condition too Second is a rear sun screen, it's a mesh material in a metal frame that you clip inside the hatch window, it keeps out a ton of heat and you can take it out for winter, you can't see into the car also. My 280 had tinted side windows but the rear glass was not done. Both are huge and would be prohibitively awkward to post. If you want either you WILL need to come to Swindon.
