Front grill modification question

Featured Replies

I'm not necessarily going to do this mod but I reckon it makes an interesting alternative to the original grill.

One question I have though, is how do they get around the mechanism?  What happens to the lever that pops out when you pull the bonnet release?

Depends which one you go for. The original super skoda one looks like the pics and people either shorten the bonnet release mechanism or simply bend it slightly which seems to work fine. Their later model had a slit for the lever to poke through.

Yeah, I've seen the versions with the gap in but wasn't too keen.  I didn't think about bending the lever to make it fit but I guess that could work.  I must say, this is the first car I've owned where a lever pops out when you pull the bonnet release mechanism - seems a bit faffy to me.
