Good evening, wonder if you may have heard of the following before....

I have a mk2 Superb with a Bolero unit.

Recently, the bluetooth connection to my phone was lost and then reconnected (showed the dropped and reconnect message on screen)

This developed into:

Screen changing between day/night intensity modes.

Screen saying that temperature controls cannot be displayed (although manual controls work)

Screen saying that optical parking cannot be displayed (although sensors work)

Volume rises and falls of it's own accord.

Kill engine and remove key from ignition and the screen/stereo stay on.

 

These are random events and can be once/twice a day, not at all, or constant for hours on end.

 

Anybody had experience of this before please ??

Sounds like it's definitely faulty! Could be something simple like a dislodged connector, perhaps humidity in the touchscreen. Or something worse up to and including demonic possession. Best get it checked

You are spot on !!

 

Took unit out to check for moisture, repalced, and has been fine since. Dodgy connection ??
