Rear vent dial

Featured Replies

I have a new Yeti and behind the armrest there is an air vent with a vertical dial for direction and two horizontal ones for air flow. The right air flow one is missing. I think it came like that, my daughter has been complaining about it since the car came, but of course I am also worried that something knocked it, either before I got it or after, and I get blamed.

Is this a simple job to just pop a dial back on, or is it oging to require the whole console to be dismantled?

I think if it was there it can only be pushed inside i.e. the dial is bigger than the slot so it could of just dropped down inside the console so some dissmantling will be required. I would hope that if it popped off it may popped back on.

You do need to be carefull when tipping the middle seat because the headrest can do damage in this area, your dealer may a good chap and help you or use this excuse to hide behind and blame you.
