Can anyone please help me understand what type of HID's i can put in my 2013 1.6 tdi rapid please?

 

And also will i need to make any changes using a VagCom prior to putting them in.

Oh and by the way, the Rapid has standard reflector type headlights, not projectors, this makes it unadvisable to retrofit an aftermarket HID kit (the light scatter from a reflector makes them particularly uncomfortable for other road users).

 

Factory fit xenon's are now available on the Spaceback, as they are under 2,000 lumens they don't need to be self-levelling or require the headlight wash system. With some coding then these might be a relatively easy retrofit?

 

 

Headlight washers fitted to the car in this picture but only because they are fitted as a cost option, not because they are required for the xenon's.
