I hope someone can help me. Im wanting to fit a bluetooth headunit to my 2006 Octavia vRS. Here in New Zealand all the Octavia vRS's came with the premium "Sound System" option.

Is it true if I replace the factory headunit with an aftermarket one, say a Eonon or other brand that the headunit won't dim when lights are on etc? Something to do with the sun sensor on the dash? Also, is the factory amp that comes with the "Sound System" become an issue?
