Another new person here

I own an Octavia Mk2 (facelift version) 1.4TSI petrol Elegance hatch bought new in 2009 (I had to wait four months for the colour I wanted - blue - yes I look like I'm a taxi driver!) and still going strong. Had driven VW Passats (company cars) then 2 x Seat Ibizas (mine) so obviously I'm a bit of a VW 'family' convert! Thought about buying a Passat but the (then standard) six pack CD player was the final decider for the Octavia (you know - those things that play music at a higher quality than mp3s - a reliable in-car vinyl player is yet to be designed!)  I won't be a frequent visitor here, but glad to be on board.  Have been hankering after a new Octavia for a year or more but that now 'missing' six pack (and the c.£20k price, as I still want my Elegance-type features - e.g. reversing sensors, cruise control) is keeping me from committing!!
