Hi all,

 

i have a 57reg 1.4tdi. I'm trying to find out if a specific wiring kit exists for my year Fabia? 

Ive seen vehicles in the past with scotchlocks which you get with generic kits, I'm thinking of having the car for a while so want a more permenant solution.

i can find the kits for the face lift, 2010 onwards and seen some mk1 kits but nothing for a mk2 2007-2010 (which mine is) 

 

anyone got any any pointers on this ?

It will require programming though once it is fitted to work properly with the car and the wiring installation can be complicated if you are not familiar with automotive wiring.

Thanks, must have slipped past me on eBay! 

 

The wiring isn't too much of a worry, but why does it need programming? I don't have any bulb failiue warnings on my model.

I thought the connectors just went inline with the ones to the back light units ?

Also is programming expensive ?
