What gearbox box's will fit in my 2005 mk1 vrs

Hey folks last night was driving home and it was wet I started too hear a strange noise coming from the gearbox I changed down into 4th too be no noise pressed clutch in and changed back into 5th too hear like a strange grind noise press clutch in and noise will die down but not dissappear it is very strange. I think easy option is just to replace box but all I need is some info on best option for replace box weather it's the evs box or whatever I just want best option that will bolt right on no f**king about weather it's the tdi 5 speed box I keep hearing about any help will be appreciated
