Microfibre Identification / Segregation

Featured Replies

We all regularly use microfibres for various tasks - window cleaning, dashboard cleaning, wax removal, quick detailer application etc etc but how do you manage to keep track of what has been used for what task?

I mistakenly used my C2v3 MF for window cleaning the other day! I've now cleaned all my MFs and really want to segregate and control usage.

Different colours for different tasks is a good idea

I normally leave the microfiber cloth I use with the said product & when the microfiber is completely dead/finished or needs changing, then I replace for a fresh microfiber cloth with said product.

I have been meaning to get something like this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-DRAWER-SILVER-TOWER-UNIT-PLASTIC-DRAWERS-STORAGE-ORGANIZER-MINI-SMALL-/172262527276?hash=item281ba5912c:g:YzAAAOSwZQxW4hep

A 3 or 4 drawer unit & label each draw with " wheels, bodywork, dash, windows " etc...

Even a 3 draw would still be ok & then cut up a piece of cardboard & place in each middle half of the draw to make a 3 section a 6 section. B)

Basically all the good ones are mine for use on my car and all the cheap ones are for everything else

I'm with Prykey, I use same colours/brands for the same tasks, e.g purple monsters are for buffing and black Eurow ones are for my alloys.   Once they aren't as plush then I'll relegate them for use elsewhere.
