09 Octavia Ltd Edition Tsi 66k £5k (reduction)

Featured Replies

Price reduced as I have now bought a new car, so have listed for £100 over WBAC which is where it will be going if no interest in the next few days - I would much rather it went to someone looking here than a random trader.

2009 Limited Edition Petrol with 66k and full Skoda History.

£5,000 for the car without additions listed seperately - no offers please

2 Owners including myself. MOT Jan 18, Next service due Jan 18 or @ c75k.

Selling as I've just never really got on with the car after buying it February last year. I came from a Type R and it's just too compromised in terms of handling for me. Shame as it's a great Family car with a good turn of speed.

Comes with the usual limited edition spec plus some minor additions, i.e:

Full ltd Edition leather interior, in very good condition

Revised TSI engine rather than the Tfsi - this was replaced due to chain failure by Skoda when I purchased the car so you don't need to worry about tensioner/chain replacement for a long time.

Auto headlights (module added with sensor sitting at the front screen)

Bluetooth (Voice and streaming) added, plus wifi if sold with Columbus.

Revised FL interior with Climate etc

Bolero head unit will be included for the advertised price, with Aux in

Springs have been replaced with Eibach's for a slightly lower look after a rear snapped last year.

Whiteline rear arb fitted

BBS SR alloys  - Replaced the monza's after beign fed up with one too many potholes and bits of bent rim

Wearing 4 pilot sport tyres with circa 4mm front and 6mm rear

In addition to the above the car can also come with (mix and match as you like):

Bluefin (+£200)

Columbus (+£200)

Custom built dog cage - takes up circa 2/3's of the boot width and runs right to the end of the glass with a sloped section. Used for my Cocker but easily big enough for a bigger dog (say to Collie or small Lab size) (+£150)

4 Dunlop winter tyres (7mm) (+£200)

Rear vanstyle shades (£+50)

Bad / Not so good bits (warts and all):

Since the replacement engine has been fitted I get a really odd sporadic fault that throws up codes for the throttle body and or pedal sensor. I am wholly convinced this is a wiring issue as when it occurs a bit of fiddling with the throttle body wiring then a reset takes the code away for up to 3 /4 months at a time.

(I believe) linked to the above is a very odd ESP issue where on occasion the car will engage the esp slightly when no slip has occured. This happens only on motorway speed, long sweeping bends when you are completely off throttle. I've checked for speed sensor anomalies but all 4 are reading the same speed on a logged run.

I believe both of the above are likely to be down to a wiring issue, having had a read up on common cross platform TSI issues the section under the cars battery appears to be the first place to check - however I simply haven't had the motivation over the winter to look at it and have no real intention of doing so now unless I keep the car.

Mark on the rear bumper, looks like something was dropped on it at some point and has dug into the plastic. Never bothered me

Very light scratches on the OSR door - I may have a go at machining these out but they look like they will always be slightly visible.

a few (and i mean only a few) stone chips around the car

A very slight bit of stiching damage on the Drivers seat - will put a picture on, very minor.

A couple of pictures attached (not great quality unfortunately but gives an idea) - will add more over the next few days.

Car is in Glasgow, happy to collect from Edinburgh/Glasgow if you need to travel
