remove fuel filler flap door card switch

Featured Replies

As above.

Switch is faulty that opens the fuel filler flap, Skoda Classic Mk1 1.9 TDi. I've removed the module and rigged a temporary switch until i get a replacement. It seems I can get just the switch but can't seem to remove it from the module. I can get the whole module but would just like to replace the switch if possible. Don't want to force it just in case. Anyone replace just the switch?

can you explain of what module you are referring to?
do you mean housing of the switch ?

Bit late probably, but I solved this by just replacing the switch by the door pocket. I managed to to gently lever the switch out of a 2nd hand housing. Cost £8 off ebay

Nope, not too late for me. I've been using a store card to open it. Thanks for this, will give it a go.
