hi, I want to hook up my new dvd recorder through my digi box so i can record from sky ....but ....my lcd tv is mounted on the wall and the scart cable goes down the back of the cavity along the floor behind the skirting board then into the sky box ...is it possible to loop in the dvd recorder to record dvds play them and still watch sky ...obviously not at the same time (any smart asses) through the one scart lead ???? i can connect the dvd recorder and sky box together with a scart as they are on top of each other in another corner of the room.....hope this is clear ..dont want to run another scart lead !!!!!

You can do this but the picture from the dvd wont be great unless your sky box has rgb passthru. Connect the dvd recorder to the video connection on the sky box, then you can use the recorder like a video.
