Fitted my boy-racer gauges

Featured Replies

All fitted in but only the boost gauge is working so far...

I take that as approval :)

they look good to me well done

Nice!

Cost? Was fitting quite straight forward?

CH4V! :P

Actually the most tasteful guages I've ever seen. :) Trouble for me would be them being out of eyeshot when driving.

Nice, thats got me thinking now!

looks good (and similar to my set-up when it's complete. I've currently only got the boost gauge and an analogue clock).

An idea would be to swap the radio with the guages to raise them a bit so that you can see them better whilst driving.

Looks great imo

Rob - looking pretty pukka - see you didn't go with a DIN bracker but have mounted them independently at a 'driver friendly' angle... - how have to fixed 'em in place?

Cheers for the comments :)

So far it's all been quite easy to fit - though I have had the dash apart before to run my amp power so that part was made easier.

The gauges cost 80 quid for all three including delivery to NZ (from Oz). The holder was 12.50 delivered from the UK.

I bought everything from Ebay UK.

Boost gauge was simple to plumb in. Oil temperature gauge will have to wait till next oil change as it includes a replacement sump plug.

The fuel/air ratio one I'm not sure about at the moment - needs connecting to the oxygen sensor :)

I was going to move the stereo down and put them above but I concluded that I put CDs in there quite often and the gearknob kinda gets in the way - so I left them lower. You can see most of the dials but the top is obscured

Edit: Just noticed this is my 1000th post!!

i would like some of the can you tell the link so i can get some thanks

Gauges came from this guy:

I ended up risking it a bit and bypassing Ebay so we could sort out the postage properly to NZ - his auctions require immediate Paypal payment with UK postage rates.

I emailed him exactly what I wanted - he responded quickly and I had the gauges within about three days. Very impressed.

To be honest I'm more impressed with the outside temperature reading.

Explain why you left the UK.
