Fitting Centre Arm Rest

Featured Replies

Has anyone looked at fitting the centre arm rest to their MK III Fabia?

I'm picking my MK III up today but it doesn't include the centre armrest so am thinking of getting one of the genuine part ones to fit my self. ARM REST. Would like to know how easy/awkward it would be to fit.

Thanks

Hi there, here's a thread where someone else has fitted one which may help.

That's my guide trust me it's a pain in the butt

To fit

If I sell the car it goes with it and I'll order the next fabia with one

It's a pain but worth it IMO. I really like my arm rest. I paid £30 for mine though from a scrappie, I'd check that route first!

Thanks guys. Yeah malcster I typically spotted your guide shortly after I posted this thread lol. It's certainly food for thought. Considering my MKII Fabia didn't have an armrest either I'm quite used to not having one but will see how I find it on the MK III after a few weeks of having it and long journeys.

I wouldn't be without one

but after not long since fitting one in a roomster this fits identically yet it was a lot more troublesome

I have fitted one and I didn't think it was that bad to do. I fitted it in less than an hour.

I may be biased though as I spent 13 years working on French cars.

To be honest if I'd fitted the arm rest using only my teeth, I'd still of said it was fairly easy compared to working on French cars :D.

I still need regular sessions of whale music in a darkened room to get over "those" years:blink:.
