I'm Jorn from Belgium, since 2016 I drive a Octavia VRS TDI, remaped to 215bhp and 454nm of torque.

That looks great Jorn, welcome to Briskoda

Hi Jorn, welcome to Briskoda - nice vRS you have there :)

Welcome Jorn, looks like a very nice machine :)

Welcome, nice vRS. How does the car feel to drive after the remap?

It's smoother than OEM.

The tuner could get about 230bhp out of the TDI but that costs some reability. My car has a manual gearbox and now the torque is topped off in the first 2 gears to safe the gearbox.

With the softer tuning I've chosen, it's the meaning I could drive 10 years without engine or gearbox damage.

Thats good the hear, I've also got the manual transmission so would be looking for a similar map to preserve the clutch. By limiting torque in the first 2 gears would definitely help. Some tuners quote 230/235bhp and 470nm, I think 215/220bhp and 450nm is plenty.
