Switched Fuses in Fabia?

Featured Replies

Hi, I have bought a hardwiring kit for my dashcam(12v-5v regulator, usb cable and fuse taps). For some reason any fuse I choose will power the dashcam even when the ignition is off. For example I chose the rear wiper fuse which will not work when the ignition is off. I tested it by removing the fuse and confirming the wiper no longer worked. No matter what fuse I try it always supplies power when the ignition is off. My car is a 2007 Skoda Fabia. The fuse layout is as follows:

I am hoping there is an easy solution to this. Thanks in advance.

OK, managed to find one. I used fuse number 10(s switch) which is the switch in the ignition that turns off when the key is pulled out.
