62 plate Skoda Octavia VRS Estate DSG - White

OK folks this is now available and up for sale here first, it'll be advertised elsewhere soon. With a long-term Project at work now requiring minimal travel I want to treat myself to a petrol MK3 VRS TSI or similar.

Its a 62 plate MK2 facelift Octavia VRS Estate TDI in DSG flavour.

Candy White with the optional OEM black pack - black alloys, black half leather/black cloth seats with lovely red stitching, dark carbon trim inserts and classy dark roof lining. Believe this was an option prior to the final Blackline model coming along.

Only 1 previous owner, who lives up my road!
MOT November, no advisories - can put on a full MOT.

Mileage only 77.5k.

HPI clear.

Full Service History - All Skoda except last service at local respected VAG specialist, with the following sterling maintenance record:

  • May-17: Front discs and pads
  • Mar-17: Full Inspection service (oil + oil/air/pollen/fuel filters + healthcheck) at 75k.
  • Nov-16: Cambelt and waterpump done early at 70k .
  • May-16: Dealer Inspection service and DSG oil/filter change at 59k.
  • All previous services at local Sheffield Skoda Dealer at 20k, 29k, 40k.
  • Fully stamped Service book and receipts present, 2 keys, original manuals & Skoda leather binder.

The car is standard with the exception of a black rear load protector fitted (mountain biker) and a Shark Stage 1 engine remap with accompanying DSG map. This was my first DSG car and like most I found it to be a little sluggish with the gearbox always too keen to get into 5th/6th even on 30/40mph roads. The conservative Shark Stage 1 remap coupled with the DSG map transformed the driving experience not in terms of whopping power gains, but rather with a much smoother drive and gear selection, extra power there when needed and a small but noticeable increase in MPG (my best was 59 mpg on winter tyres!). This wasn't cheap and was chosen on the strength of other positive reviews that proved correct, so worth every penny - can be removed by Shark if so desired or you could let Skoda do the emissions update on the car. Note I informed my insurer prior to having this done and it only added approx £50 to my premium.

Car has the following specification as you'll probably already know:

  • Rare optional black pack which includes:
    • OEM black 18" alloys
    • Black half leather Sports Seats with red stitching (no awful white seats like most)
    • Black roof headlining
  • Multifunction 3 spoke steering wheel (you don't get this on the manuals) and Maxidot dash computer/menu
  • DSG automatic gearbox, with Paddleshift and Sport mode.
  • Park Distance Control (Rear)
  • Touch Screen Bolero Stereo with SD card and AUX connectivity in armrest.
  • Bluetooth - Phone and Music streaming with full steering wheel control.
  • Dual Zone Climate.
  • Cruise Control.

Cosmetically very good condition, a stone chip on the windscreen (not an MOT failure) and a couple of minor marks (one on wing mirror) commensurate with age. Last year my neighbour didn't put his Superb's handbrake up tight enough so it slowly rolled into mine leaving a couple of marks down to the primer, so he paid for a full bumper respray meaning the area that had suffered from a few stones chips now looks great. The only thing that lets it down is some minor kerbing on the edges of the alloys.

Price now revised to a more competitive £8,800 as I've seen a car I would like.

OEM Skoda Aero roof bars and rubber floor mats will be included for the full asking price.

PM me if interested. Sheffield based.

Right folks this is available now if anyone is interested, rather than the end of the month. It'll be advertised elsewhere soon.

Forgot to mention I've always had OEM rubber mats fitted so footwells are in good condition with OEM mats underneath. If I get the asking price I'll include the OEM rubber mats and the OEM roof bars

A few more pics now added, even more available here
