suspension

Featured Replies

Has any one used  the suspension of the 4x4 model and put it on to the 2wd at all?

Are you looking at raising the height as I cannot see what benefit you would get by fitting it.

If you intend doing  this because you think they are more robust, well I hate to burst your bubble.

I've just updated my excel 'Servicing, Maintenance and MoT' spreadsheet and it just informed me that I've replaced more broken springs and suspension components than I initially thought.

I've now owned my Octy Scout for the same mileage and age as my Honda Civic (7 years and 90,000 miles) and I do not recall having to replace any suspension components on that vehicle. If anything, the Civic led a harder life than the Scout ; 2 1/2 years driving around Gib, 35k driving around rural Spanish  dirt roads.

I haven't replaced so much suspension components on one vehicle since I got ripped off by Kwik Fit Anniesland in the early 90's!

I work on the railway. You'll be surprised on how much off roading I'm doing! Just looking at prices and weather any one has done the change and if they had any problems ie weather they have gained any ride hight.
