Looking for a bit of wheel advice, if anyone can help?

 

The current tyres on my Fabia HTP (2012) say 195/55/R15, but I've just been offered (for free from my dad!) some lovely new alloy wheels. The new wheels would be slightly larger: 215/45 R16.

 

Does anyone know if these would fit and, if so, whether I would have to get additional adjustments made, for example electronically for the speedo etc.?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes they would fit if the wheels are the correct 5x100 for the wheel studs.

 

See what the size difference is of the tyres. ie the total circumference.

A very small difference, so measure the wheels / tyres from your dad next to the tyres on the car.

Your speed will be pretty much as is or slightly more accurate.
