Anyone knows how can i update the software, not the maps??

I thought that was via the dealer update only same as the fabia Octavia mib2 units 

I could be wrong though 

Firmware updates on Amundsen and Columbus can easily be carried out by owners - if you can find the firmware.......

Any can help me?

Are you referring to the latest head units or the earlier ones 

 

 

Both MIB1 and MIB2 units have been updated by users. A forum search will find them.

Connect your nav unit Amundsen to external WI FI Internet HotSpot (i.e your smartphone acting as a modem...)

and then on your nav unit Menu /System /informations (update on line)
