Hi there. Week ago my wife's 03 Fabia,s wipers stopped working. Used this site and got info to check fuses etc.

they were OK and found out it was faulty convienience module. Managed to get hold of one and swopped it over.

wipers now work perfectly but lost use of electric Windows, central locking ( works but then locks you in!!), and boot. 

 

Read on here that if CCM is swopped the replacement will need coding with vagcom.

 

anyone on the Sheffield / South Yorkshire area that can help me out. I called a local garage and was told I would have to take it to main dealer as they were the only ones with software to do this.

I'd think it's just a case of enabling all the options, should be fairly simple with VCDS.

Ok. I was hoping so. 

I don't have vagcom, so if anyone can help I'll pay a fair price

anybody local to Sheffield with vagcom able to sort this out.
