Just curious - Maxidot on latest Mk3

Featured Replies

Our 2015 Mk3 SE is in the local dealers for some warranty work today, and the loan car I have been given is a 2017 Mk3 SE (jun 17 reg). There is a difference in the way the Maxidot  works compared to our 2015 Mk3, in the loan car the Maxidot display shows the same icons as on the Infortainment screen (Car, Settings, Audio, Driver Assistance, Smartlink etc) - and our 2015 Mk 3 does not The loan car has the multi-function steering wheel which our car does not have - does anyone know if  this difference is due to having the multi-function steering wheel fitted?

I think you are right in saying that it's the multifunction steering wheel that makes it different, as far as i was aware though the SE model is supposed to have the multifunction steering wheel over the S model...it certainly does on the current brochure

That would make sense then as our Mk3 is July 15 reg and doesn't have the MFSW.

It was added to the MY16 cars.
