Evening all.

Thought I'd join the forums. I'm a current MK2 Octavia VRS Estate (Petrol Manual) owner and will be receiving delivery of my new MK3 VRS Hatchback on Tuesday (Petrol Auto).

Can't wait for delivery! Been the longest wait I've ever gone through.

Never gone automatic before, but I've heard good things about the DSG gearbox so quite excited to give it a go.

Is there a post of Easter Eggs and hidden features in the latest VRS? I'm aware of the Launch Control, but I was wondering if any of you owners knew of anything?

My recent (non-Skoda) cars have given dashboard warnings when the battery in the key fob runs down. This gives the driver the opportunity to change the battery and to keep the key functional. The battery in my Superb's key fob recently ran down, and it went from fully operational (working the button "plip" as well as the keyless entry) to completely flat during the course of a day at work. I have been looking around for a basic cheap run around - automatic - but witout much success. There is a 2002 Fabia 1.4 16V Classic 5dr forr sale near me. £2700 (which is overpriced I feel) with 66500 miles on the clock and it says 1 previious keeper. Am I mad to be considering a 24 year old car? I just missed out on a 2013 fabia though I was worried about the DSG gearbox. I used to have sometime ago a 2003 Skoda fabia and loved it. But I'm worried about taking on such a old car. I m

I used a copy of this MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 MU0490 if anyone else needs, the site I think I had it from was mibsolution.one is currently down though. I was wary of the copy I had and passage of time, but it worked fine installed, I just have to clear the fault code ( have odbeleven but pro ran out and doesn't cover the adaption by looks of it) Excuse the state of my interior I don't use the car that much and could use a vaccuum.
