Columbus coding in Barking, London

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am trying to find somebody willing to help with the proper long coding of a Skoda Columbus unit retrofitted in a Skoda Superb.

Originally the car had the same unit, but it crashed and the newly bought unit doesn't have any audio output although in the original car was working fine.

Please let me know if there is anybody around Barking (London) available for this kind of help (including a garage or something equipped with VCDS or similar)

Thank you,

Teo

You should've sent me your old unit and I would've coded you a replacement which would've been plug & play. But no matter.

It sounds like one of the vehicles has a Skoda Sound System installed. If you have the sound system in your car then you'll need the Columbus coding to work with the sound system. If the sound system was in the other car then you'll need the Columbus coding to work without the sound system Takes a couple of minutes, but unfortunately I'm up in North Yorks so unable to help. However, take a look here and see if there's anyone close to you.
