Hey peeps, what sort of lifespan do people expect to get from a single hexlogic pad ? I've recently noticed that after buying a 2nd orange 5.5" pad that the new one is a lot firmer than the old one. FYI I've done two full cars with the first  pad and a few panels here and there. and always cleaned it with chemical guys pad cleaner. I'm wondering if the pad will perform as well as it becomes softer even though it still looks brand new. Also, my other pads still seem ok with the same amount of use/care/etc.

My hexlogic quantum are on about the 8th car and still performing as expected

That's good to here malcster. Have you ever noticed any of your pads going "soft"

Can't say I've noticed it check and let you know 

Cool. I only noticed the difference as I had a brand new pad sat next to an old one(used twice) otherwise I would never of noticed either.

I'm probably worrying about nothing.

The pads will 'bed in' and become softer over time and usage - providing the surface is still smooth then crack on.
