Skoda 2017 June Columbus usb issues

Featured Replies

Help!

I've had the Skoda with Columbus for 3 months now and used Bluetooth for calls and music but muxh prefer the android auto option via usb for music and Google maps etc. The usb however has stopped connecting to my iPhone and it also wont connect to my Samsung s8 even though previously it always did. It now charges both but the Columbus won't connect or 'see' any phone or iPod etc..... I've factory reset, removed connections and Bluetooth and started again but the head unit just won't see any device via usb. Bluetooth is ok.

Any ideas?

Couple of maybe non relevant things to note. It stopped working after a week of being abroad from the UK in Italy. The media link is showing on the samsung s8 but doesn't activate... assume all points to car as tried 4 devices and all charge but no data connection.... Is this relevant?

Forgot to add... same leads used that were working for months before and tried genuine cert ones also just in case... all devices continue to charge but smartlink just sits waiting for a usb connection...... It's driving me mad and not back to UK for 3 weeks....
