Misfire

Featured Replies

Afternoon all

Today I have developed a misfire under acceleration, if I was to plant my foot it would be instant but if I gradually increase speed it is fine.  I have done a scan with VCDS and below is what came back so any help would be greatly appreciated.  The only thing that has been done recently is a downpipe and sports cat put on but that was a week ago.

Many thanks

Before doing the downpipe,

or since when were the spark plugs last out, inspected, gap checked or plugs replaced?

  • Author

Plugs were replaced around 6 months ago on last service

Unless you did them yourself i would get them out and check them,

as it will you need to check them anyway and then you know where you stand, then the next thing is ignition coils to check.

  • Author

Ok will get checked tomorrow. Thanks for that
