Fabia to the crusher !

Featured Replies

Just a bit of fun. Saw this picture of a vehicle dismanteler in an article about Ford's New scrapped scheme. Noticed the Fabia lll at the top of the picture. Wonder what was wrong with it? Maybe the other side is all smashed in !

It probably had a rattle behind the dashboard :D

should have at least taken the wheels off !

One of those early models? ... got fed up trying to connect to the Mirrorlink  ?

A friend of mine used to own a scrapyard and occasionally he had cars brought in by the police which were the proceeds of crime and had to be crushed even though they were perfectly driveable and good for parts.

I once saw a nearly new Vauxhall Lotus Carlton totally crushed and made into a cube, engine and all.

Crushing a Lotus Carlton is a true crime

Often the results of being a Ringer like a recent case of a gift someone got of a Ferrari but which had been a total write off which had been 'rebuilt'.

If previously should have been 'broken' or exported or parts never used again and somehow then is being tested and put back on the road.

Recently cars from the last UK Scrappage Scheme in the UK have been turning up again as complete vehicles but the licensed breakers had to ensure they were scrapped.

The car I got my armrest out of looked perfect on one side.... but not the other!
