Folding disaster

Featured Replies

Main pipe in the kitchen blew. Whole ground floor covered in 2" water. Extension lead powering my wanadoo router got wet. POP. Plug died so I lost internet. Means 3 days of non-folding. :(

Shame.

Got it all working now though. Found a plug for some old speakers with same spec and end.

I'd be more bothered about my whole ground floor being submerged, but anyway! :D

Good news mate

You've had a good weekend all round haven't you? ;)

Does that deserve a finger smiley...? :D

Nah, I'll save it for something more befitting.

Well, not much damage done to ground floor. My slippers were soaked and losing power to livebox was pretty bad. Most things escaped. Trying to find out about my old Athlon 750 because that was on the ground... Could be time for a new box if thats gone. :thumbdwn:

Well Jason.........look out ....they say things happen in threes.......thats two (unless you have had a third disaster this week/end) and after those two I think you had better take cover.

For the flood ...find a dehumidifier a bit quick and start drying it out or it's going to smell terrible.......(talking from experiance here)

I have got a small leak in the bathroom this morning (the floor and the carpet is wet)...so you are not alone

Funny you should say about power downs, just got into work this morning, expecting the usuall hum of 14 P4's happilly folding away, to find a deadly silence, all machines powered off - am thinking must have been a power down across campus over the w/e.
