Spacesaver/spare wheel

Featured Replies

Im after a spare wheel or spacesaver for my Skoda Octavia VRS (225/40R18). Im just wondering if anyone knows whats the smallest and largest size i can use?

How old is it, and is it diesel?

During 2016 the front discs on the TDI were reduced in size, which means a 16" rim should fit & clear the calipers. Mine is registered May 2016 and has smaller front discs.

Older TDI's and all petrol vRS's need a minimum 17" rim to clear the bigger discs/calipers. An 18" rim will obviously be okay too.

205/55/16, 225/45/17 and 225/40/18 are all OEM spec tyre sizes and will be fine. Bolt pattern (PCD) is 5 x 112 and centre bore 57.1mm. Offsets should be ET35-55 ideally.

Edit: am using mobile so couldn't see your car details - after viewing your profile I see you have the petrol...
