the 1k8 module is very basic

if you have a 3c8035730b you should replace it with a newer 3c8035730e

A quick google suggest people are having iOS11 issues across various car brands so it might be worth waiting for apple to release a fix.

I know it's not an immediate solution, but unless you know a different BT module will fix it, I wouldn't spend the cash yet...

I had a apple update last night 4/10/2017 .

i will plug the Bluetooth module back in today and see what happens

If I remember correctly, I'd also try:

- removing the phone from the cars BT list

- removing the phone from the cars media BT list

- removing the car from the phones BT list

- repairing them

have done all the above to day,

no luck looses it when ecg shuts down

Then I would certainly be blaming apple atm.

Not sure what you mean by "looses it when ecg shuts down"?

I would still be cautious and not buy a new module yet. Not unless it's been confirmed the module you're buying is working with either your iphone or identical model with iOS11.

When you lock your car it takes a while for the ecu to shut down so I have t wait at least 30 mins before I can check if the Bluetooth is connected or not,

everything was ok until this apple update. :speechless::speechless:
