Hi all. Well I've just joined after being a Fabia VRS owner since 2011. Bit about myself: I'm a female in her EARLY 40s and I've always had an interest in cars since my early teens, mainly hot hatches. I was a bit of a girl racer back in the day and owned the likes of Astra GTE, XR2, 205 GTI.....and I just can't shake the car thing lol. So I bought my Fabia, kept it standard (maybe tinted the rear windows) and drove it all over the UK, around town  with no major issues and loved every minute, then I had a stupid idea in December. I know, I'll buy a Volvo and sorn the Fabia off the road. WHAT? WHY? A moment of madness!! I've never been so unhappy driving that lumpy car. So, Fabia is now taxed, tested, insured, back on the road and im raring to go. See ya later Volvo!! My fab may look a little tired at present but here I go.........and I'm back smiling again.

Welcome

Me and my youngest son have been MK1 Fabia Vrs owners, TBH I want one back ( a LTD edition Race Blue version) , and my son still looks back fondly on his time owning, my eldest was a ford fan and never understood why we liked the car so much till he recently bought a MK1 Vrs and now 'Gets it".

Good job you didnt sell it . :)

Thanks lfc958!! I always said I would keep the car for my daughter (she's only 12 lol) as in a few years time it might be worth a few bob. But what a great excuse to not sell.....
