Hi guys

I'm considering buying an Octavia 1.6 FSI Ambiente, it's done 55k miles.  FSH and MOT history looks good.  I've read that this engine has problems if the fuel is too high in sulfur?  I've read the thread about the poor guy who's engine had to be rebuilt at only 36k miles!  Was this a rare case? What other issues has people had with this engine?  Or is it nothing to worry about?

I have owned a 55 plate1.6 FSI for 5 years from 33,000 now 62,000 no problems and run it o shell with redex every fill, no running problems.

I've been running an 07 plate 1.6 FSI since new and have now racked up 68,000 miles. Always fill up with Super Unleaded. No problems with the engine.
