Hello Westlake welcome along to the Skoda forum good to have you with us Westlake that's a  Scottish name is it not.

Hi, back from service, guys checked out the suspension and it's all fine. Tyre pressures too. Had a fine drive from thornbury to yeovil, 75 miles, 90 minutes, cruise control most of the way, over 47mpg. Not bad for 2 litre petrol VRS!

 

Hello all by the way, for all those that are interested, Westlake I think is a Devonian or Cornish name, my great grandfather moved from mining timing Cornwall to Wales to mine coal. This is where all my recent family is from, I however was born in billericay but now live near bristol. 

 

Came to skoda from 2 bad bmws and a really bad Merc. To get to  a decent spec I had to go highish miles, but then got this skoda (loaded) at a year old. Love it
