Milltek Exhaust on a vRS Diesel?

Featured Replies

Has anyone fitted a milltek exhaust twin exit onto a diesel vRS? they seem to be the only off-the-shelf option at the moment. I havent got car downtime to have one designed

does it sound like a tractor?

where there decent power increases?

what does it look like?

what is the difference between resonated and non resonated?

thank you please

I’m no expert on exhaust but was told when I was looking into getting one that it’s not worth it.

No power increase and that it wouldn’t sound that great.

I opted for a remap instead.

Its upto you though. Good luck.

just looking under the car today as it was getting some skirts fitted it would need all the extra shielding too so any option will be pricey.

Let us know how it goes. Interesting to see what it sounds like.

Like I said I was put off getting one by a few people.

its the options that worry me, obviously resonated is quieter, but can i fit the skoda fake pipes or remove them and fit the cerekote or oval milltek tips?

it looks like they use the LHS silencer or do they i cant really tell? hence would like to see one fitted

mine runs on banana skins and Maccy Ds chip fat...

i have noticed this weird phenomenon when i hit 78 miles per hour, it goes all the way to 120 in about 4 seconds.

Have a look on Facebook for Tony Banks. Custom exhaust fabricator based up in Leeds. He’s done a few diesels which actually sound ok. Recently an Audi 2.0 (think same engine as Skoda?) which will give you a good idea of what to expect

can you link a vid? i cant find it.

Im talking myself out of it at the moment, ive never had fake twins before as i always associated it with nova driver etc so its a little embarrressing.

Seems pointless upgrading if its going to be way louder as its almost impossible to tell unless your a skoda driver anyway so ill live with the shame.
