Fabia SEL - Software Updates

Featured Replies

Hey all,

I'm wondering if anyone knows about updates to the smartlink system?

My 2 year old Fabia has the smartlink with Android Auto etc. It's a bit dodgy on connectivity once in a while and I thought a software update might be a good idea. I know I can go here http://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/en-gb and check with my VIN but nothing seems to be available. It's not been updated once during services either.

However, my Mum's picked up exactly the same car (albeit an SL) on Friday, and it's a much more recent version of the software (v.0363). That said my hardware is listed as H29 and hers is H30 so maybe that's why?

Anyway, if anyone knows of any update files I could use that would be great.

Cheers :)

What is the SW version you have now?

The top one is mine, the bottom 2 are mum's! As you can see the new one has 2 screens-worth of information. Mine only has one.

Maybe there is no software update for Hardware Rev H24 as there is for H30?

Do the images help? :)

Your unit can be upgraded only to software versions that start wit 02, the latest one I believe is 0252 but unfortunately I don't have it :(

Thanks Pab. Actually it's off to the garage for a minor warranty repair on Friday. I'll ask them to do it :) Failing that - any idea of where I can obtain it?
