Hello, got a small problem with my car that is driving me crazy.

The EML comes on with the error code for camshaft sensor. Fitted a new Bosch one and the issue went away but after a week it has come back again.

 

Is there anything else that needs checking or changing. I drive a 70mile round trip to work of which 25 miles is motorway/dual carriageway at about 60mph. The rest is a roads.

 

It's has only just reach 30000 miles and apart from this no other mechanical issues. Grateful for any help or ideas.

I think you need to rescan it and tell us what the error codes are. If its camshaft sensor again it could be wiring/connector issue or maybe a related issue such as timing chain stretched.

The code is P0341 that is read back both as actual and pending according to my code reader.

Check the wiring and the connector for corrosion or damage.
