My bolero system doesn't seem to be recognising that it has the cd changer attached to it. Not coming up with any cds to eject or play, even though there are 6 in there and it's been fine since I got it two and a half years ago. Tried taking the fuse out, leaving it a while and replacing it, but no success

Check the simple stuff first, have any of the plugs become displaced on the changer, or have any plugs become disconnected behind the head unit?.

 

What actual Skoda model do you have?.
