Android Auto.

Featured Replies

I spend a fair amount of time waiting for SWMBO in various store car parks and have just discovered the delights of Android auto.

I download a lot of BBC Radio 4 output but could only play it through Bluetooth on the car's sound system with no control over the track playing other than stop or start and the next track only available for selection on the phone (a Galaxy 8).

That was until I discovered Android Auto; when plugged into the USB socket all the playing options of iPlayer Radio are there on the Columbus screen and the phone can stay in the centre console holder, not using my mobile data allowance, and be charged as well.

With all the audio I could possibly need, my downloaded videos - long may SWMBO shop.
