Amundsen plus and reversing camera

Any more success with installing a reversing camera (either wireless or wired) to play through the OE Amundsen + Satnav display when reverse gear is selected?  The various threads don't seem to come up with much success.  One complication for me is the aux socket is u/s as there appears to be a jack plug broken off inside.

I'm OK with the physical installation of the camera and cable routing, but not the syncing to the head unit.

The car is a 61 reg Fabia, but the unit seems to be common throughout the range, it's even the same as in my neighbour's Passat.
