Four day test drive

Featured Replies

Will be handing back the keys tomorrow and I must say I have been very impressed with the car.

It is to be a replacement for the wife's Yaris. She likes it as well and most importantly was also impressed that with two isofix seat in place that there was still room for a passenger, small adult but a larger child on a booster seat none of which the previous cars tested so far could match (small child and no booster seat).

The seat are rather "toasty" within a minute on three bars (Alcantara trim). My good lady felt the car, as I did, was quite refined, especially for a 2.0 diesel. She especially liked the rear view camera. Her biggest fear was the cars size but she did not mention it during the drive or when parking on our drive way. The only downside is, she still prefers the outside shape of the Mokka.

This is the first car I have tested in the quest to replace her Yaris (Ateca, Arona, Mokka and Qashqai) and it is the only one that I have not really wanted to return to the dealer just to get my Superb L&K back.

Handed the keys back this afternoon with much regret. If I was in the market for a new car it would be the one, just need to convince the wife now as it is her car we are replacing. I do like the way the mileage "ticks" over just like a standard odometer (yes I know other cars have had that but I just noticed it today), neat that. Thank you Capitol Skoda, Newport for the loan.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the car.

We are viewing this Friday at my brother in laws garage, they have an SEL and an edition.

Our son has a weekend job there washing cars so he sent a ton of photos to wet our appitite.

Roll on Friday!
